Trainee For The Scientific Coordination Unit, European Union Drugs Agency

Lisbon, Portugal traineeship Full time, 9 months
Traineeship offer: The trainee will be allocated within the Scientific coordination (SDI), and the selected candidate will be reporting to the Scientific director.
The main aims of traineeships within the European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA) are:
To give recent university graduates the opportunity to experience the general objectives and process of European integration;
To provide trainees with practical knowledge of the workings of a European agency;
To enable trainees to acquire practical experience and knowledge of the day-to-day work of the EUDA and its units;
To provide trainees with the opportunity to work in a diverse and multilingual environment, contributing to the development of mutual understanding, trust and tolerance;
To enable trainees to put into practice the knowledge they have acquired during their studies or professional careers.
The successful applicant will be requested to perform the following main tasks and responsibilities:
Support the implementation of the foresight (future-oriented) contracts in areas of technology and synthetic drugs;
Support the work on setting up the new research database;
Support in the preparation of the call for abstracts for LxAddictions26;
Support the organisation of the meetings of the new EUDA Scientific Committee (SC);
Support management of key SDI projects and coordination activities. The jobholder may be required to contribute to other areas of work, according to the needs and priorities of the EUDA.
