Who We Need
Malwarebytes is seeking an exceptional Product Designer to lead our ecosystem's design system, shaping simple, consistent, and intuitive experiences across desktop, mobile, and web platforms. As a key team member, you will create foundational patterns, UI components, tools, and documentation that drive Malwarebytes's strategic design vision, drawing from proven expertise in large-scale design systems from prestigious global organizations and experience in accessibility design.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and engineering, ensuring the system supports both teams. You will also develop advanced internal products for designers and developers, expanding your impact across the company.
You will join our Design Team based in Tel Aviv / Tallinn.
What You'll Do
Define visual design principles and language for desktop, web, iOS, and Android products.
Own the UI visual style and brand identity, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
Lead and maintain the Figma Design System files, ensuring alignment and evolution with team input.
Define and manage the Design System change process.
Create and oversee the Design System documentation.
Proactively identify opportunities for improving the Design System.
Collaborate with designers to ensure effective utilization of the Design System.
Work closely with product designers to integrate visual and interactive elements seamlessly.
Collaborate with engineering to develop robust, polished components.
Develop comprehensive design guidelines that embody the Malwarebytes brand.
Champion accessibility best practices and integrate them into design solutions.
Create conceptual designs and propose product directions based on research and requirements.
Conduct UI visual quality assurance to maintain high design standards across all products.
Requirements
4+ years of experience in designing complex systems/platforms
2+ years of experience working on design systems at a product-focused company
2+ years of experience utilizing Figma's component libraries
Passionate about design systems and their impact
High mastery of Figma, including its advanced capabilities
Illustration/motion design skills - advantage!
Experience in close collaboration with R&D teams
Positive attitude and excellent social skills with a willingness to put aside ego for the sake of the team
Ability to adapt, switch gears, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Pragmatic work approach to meet deadlines while allowing room for future iteration
High level of proficiency in both written and spoken English
An advantage for candidates who have experience building or owning a design system.
