We are seeking a Lead UX & UI Designer to join our Fintech division to drive and own the design efforts for our client's application modernization program. This role is critical for ensuring a user-centric approach in redesigning and enhancing the user experience and interface. We want to bring creativity and unique design into the digital products we deliver.
The successful candidate will be able to efficiently interpret complex system requirements, collect and translate user insights into delightful functional user experiences. You will be leading by example, focusing on how users interact with the application and create an intuitive and easy to use interface.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the UX and UI design efforts for the modernization program, including mentoring and guiding designers within the team. Your team will be creating and scaling digital features that drive process automation, optimization, and simplification, reducing the need for manual touch-points in the customer journey.
Define a design system that reflects the client's design principles.
Oversee and govern the quality of design solutions, and identify experience risks or opportunities.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand user needs and business goals.
Develop user personas, journey maps, and wireframes.
Create high-fidelity prototypes and design specifications.
Distill simplicity from complex user and system requirements.
Work closely with dev teams to ensure design consistency and quality.
Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices.
Define and prioritize design problems effectively.
Host workshops, user research, and feedback sessions with the team and stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements: Extensive experience in UX and UI design for complex applications.
Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centric design solutions.
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, etc.
Experience with user research and usability testing methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to balance user needs with business goals.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to work and design on your feet with continuous feedback loops for iterating through design evolutions on a constant basis until needs are fulfilled.
Ability to travel and work onsite at client locations.
