We organize a whole week of activities for you to enjoy surfing, yoga, nature, and social life with people from all over. Job Description: Are you planning on having one of the best summers of your life? We are looking for someone to manage a crew of volunteers in their daily shifts and organization. This position fits perfectly for someone with previous surf camp volunteer experience, who can lead newcomers and set the best example in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage a schedule of shifts together with the camp manager to ensure a well-organized weekly plan. Collaborate with heads of departments to distribute volunteering positions across different shifts. Train volunteers to understand every step of their tasks alongside the manager. Foster a supportive team environment, where every task is key for a successful shift. Assign various tasks to the volunteering crew to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment. Maintain a clean and organized living and workplace. Requirements: Experience volunteering at a surf camp is highly preferred. Some experience leading a team of enthusiasts. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential. Willingness to learn new things and step out of your comfort zone. Able to provide feedback to improve the camp experience. Motivate the volunteering crew and help them overcome challenges. Daily Tasks at Wave Nest: As the Head of the volunteering crew, you are here to have an amazing summer experience surrounded by nature, sun, and diverse people. Your role in the activities we provide is essential for creating a great environment. After checkout on Saturdays, around 12 PM, the entire Wave Nest crew will unite to deep clean the camp for a few hours. Each member has a role, from stripping old bedding to sweeping floors and ensuring shared spaces are refreshed. Activities: Join activities programmed for everyone to enjoy, make new friends, and have a great time. Time Off: Benefit from one day off per week to explore or relax.
