And of course, in your ideas to improve lives while preserving our planet's beauty for the generations to come.About the roleOur Hazcom team, composed of 7 people, is integrated in the Product Regulation & Stewardship (PRS) department to ensure the compliant, safe and sustainable use of our products worldwide in line with Solvay's Responsible Care commitment.As a Substance EHS Management Analyst, you will work in collaboration with other teams for case resolution (Operations, TERA, Compliance, Industrial Hygiene, DT and all the PRS teams), and have a positive impact in Solvay's Chemical Industry compliance.You will be accountable for:Management of Salesforce cases: Pure Sub Creations & Updates; EHS Cases (identifiers,translations, regulatory data); SVT Cases (registration); and Phrases validationReceive and analyze the requests from our internal customers for new creations or revisionsBibliographic research on (eco) toxicological and physico-chemical propertiesEvaluation of the validity of the information gatheredDetermination of the final classification of the substance according to the Global Harmonized System (GHS)Documentation of the rationale for classification and sources of information usedDocumentation and Archiving as per team's proceduresWe offer a 12 Months fixed-term contract based on hybrid working mode.About youRelevant education degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Life Sciences.Relevant work experience in Safety Data Sheets.Scientific expertise ((Eco)toxicology/Chemistry/Health & Risk Assessment)Regulatory expertise (Classification & Labeling (CLP/GHS))Good written and verbal communication skills in EnglishERP (SAP EHS) knowledge is a plusKnowledge on SDS requirements and regulation is a plusExperience with Google applications (e.G. While the portuguese base pay reasonably expected for this role is 26k to 27k, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives
