We are looking for aSenior Railway Consultant (m/f/d)to join our consulting team in Aveiro!
Our focus is on European rail network development and innovation in transport and logistics, particularly in intermodal transport and rail freight. In this job, you will be able to work in international projects together with Siemens Mobility colleagues in Hannover.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Leading international consulting projects, developing optimization strategies and innovative solutions tailored to our clients' needs.
Coordinating collaboration with international project teams and clients, ensuring smooth communication and meeting project objectives and requirements.
Ensuring the quality of project deliverables and, in cases of deviation, develop proactive solutions to keep projects on track and within budget.
Preparing proposals and tender documents for consulting projects, overseeing the bidding process in close coordination with the project team.
Presenting our solutions and project results to clients, as well as at conferences and trade fairs.
We're looking for someone who has:
A degree in Transportation, Transport Management, or a comparable field, along with several years of relevant professional experience in this area.
Strong knowledge in railway systems and freight transport, and experience working on European studies and consulting projects.
An established network in the transport industry, for example through involvement in professional associations, which would be an asset.
An analytical and structured approach enables you to plan and execute complex projects efficiently.
Solid skills in project management and analytical methods.
The ability to work independently as part of our team, demonstrating self-initiative and accountability.
Effective communication skills with consortium partners, project teams, stakeholders, and clients.
Proficiency in English is required for this international role, and additional language skills are an advantage.
