About the team
You will join Motors customer-unit in OLX Europe and you will report into one of our Heads of Product. At Motors, our vision is to completely transform the way people buy, own, and sell vehicles. We offer the most effective and intuitive experience in the market, with leading brands like Otomoto.pl (Poland), Autovit.ro (Romania), and Standvirtual.com (Portugal) under our umbrella.
We are looking for an SPM to join our Motors Mobile Apps team. The team oversees end-to-end user experience on both our Android and iOS apps. This is an important moment for our apps strategy, and you'll help shape the future.
What you will do: Define and lead the mobile app experience product vision, strategy, goals, success metrics, and roadmaps (short and long term) for the motors category in OLX.
Build a product that is 'loved' by our users. Create a great customer experience, raising the bar on quality, functionality, and usability.
Identify user needs through different methods of research (quantitative, qualitative, product analysis, market insights, competitor benchmarking, etc.). Also responsible for data analysis, experimentation, and reporting on the app product area to bring changes and improvements to the user experience.
Ensure a high-quality user experience with our products by applying technical awareness and understanding of technical risks, both in the short-term and long-term.
Inspire your teams and partners, and build agreement around your plans. Also actively work with your team in the delivery of the roadmap.
What we are looking for: You have thrived and built great mobile app products as a senior/lead product manager at a high-traffic Internet or e-commerce company.
You have 5+ years of experience in delivering impressive features at scale that drive large swings in main metrics.
You aim to understand and delight your users, using your product skills to invent on their behalf.
You are experienced in data-driven product development and applying A/B testing, user research, conversion optimization, user testing, data analysis, competitor, and market analysis in your decision-making.
You take full end-to-end responsibility for your product, including hands-on work. Work independently with support and coaching from the Head of Products.
You value collaboration and diverse and inclusive teams.
You have excellent communication skills, including communicating technical concepts to a variety of audiences. You are required to be proficient in English.
