Other EU programme Offer Description A recruitment and selection process is open, intending to hire one Senior Technician within the framework of the CONNECTION PROJECT - CO-creating commuNity iNterventions on diEt and physical aCtivity to increase health equiTy in chIldren and adOlesceNts, reference ERA4HE/0001/2023, at the Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto. Under the terms set forth in the Labour Code, a recruitment and selection process has been opened for the recruitment of a Senior Technician under an individual employment contract under private law, for an indefinite term, during the term of the aforementioned project. The remuneration will be framed within the salary level corresponding to the first position in the professional category of Senior Technician in the Single Salary Table, corresponding to salary level 16, plus the meal allowance. Admission Requirements All individuals of legal age, with the following mandatory requirements, may apply: Higher education Degree or Master's degree in the area of Health Sciences; Previous participation in scientific research projects in population health research. If the degree has been obtained in a higher education institution outside Portugal, it needs to be recognized by a Portuguese higher education institution. Preferred Conditions Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate: Final classification of Bachelor or integrated Master greater than 14 values; Master in the field of Public Health or related sciences; Previous research experience in population-based epidemiological studies; Previous experience in management, maintenance and amendment of databases; Previous experience with exploratory data analysis; Experience in writing scientific articles, reports and other dissemination activities; Fluency in English and Portuguese, written and spoken. Work Plan The functions to be performed include planning and executing various activities related to: Assist in the process of harmonization of data among the European birth cohorts involved in the project; Participate in disseminating the project results to the scientific community and the general public; Support the production of scientific reports and original work publishable in the form of full-text papers in international journals; Participate in the preparation of project meetings and prepare the minutes and summaries of the meetings.
