Your role will be pivotal in assessing the maturity of current data governance practices and shaping future data management landscapes, with a specific focus on BCBS 239 compliance. You will collaborate with our team on the following assignments:Defining data management policies and processes.Investigating data quality issues.Assessing data management maturity and data quality.Designing and implementing Data Governance models.Your key responsibilitiesTranslate the strategic objectives of an organization into actionable goals related to data strategy, management, and utilization, with a particular focus on the Financial Services sector and BCBS 239 compliance, as well as other relevant regulations.Understand business needs and convert them into data-related functionalities.Define and implement data governance models, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience.Develop and implement policies, processes, and procedures for data management and governance.Stay updated on best practices for Data Governance.Communicate effectively with team members and client personnel at various levels as required.Skills and attributes for successKnowledge and/or experience with data governance tools such as Informatica, Microsoft Purview, Collibra, among others.Strong business acumen.High levels of autonomy, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.Continuous development of professional knowledge and experience.Dynamic and positive attitude.Strong problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Dedicated, efficient, innovative, resourceful, and able to work under pressure.A strong work ethic, technical rigor, and attention to detail.Willingness to join a young and dynamic team in a challenging environment.To qualify for the role, you must haveA Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, physics, business administration, economics, or a related discipline.Over 2 years of professional experience in Consulting.More than 2 years of experience working on Data and technology-related projects, specifically as a Data Governance/Management/Strategy consultant.A strong motivation to achieve professional excellence.A dedicated, innovative, and resourceful mindset, with strong analytical skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.The capability to promote an efficient, innovative, and collaborative team environment.Proficiency in English.Ideally, you'll also haveProven experience in analysing and documenting business processes.Proficiency in using tools like Jira and Confluence.Hands-on experience in Data & Analytics projects, including designing data models and mapping data flows.Strong business writing skills.Familiarity with frameworks such as DAMA, CMMI DMM, and PMBOK.Experience working with Agile methodologies.Ability to articulate complex concepts across all levels of technical and business audiences.Good communication skills.What we look forHighly motivated individuals with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize shifting workloads in a rapidly changing industry.
