Eligibility of applicants Applicants must meet the eligibility conditions set out in Article 9 of the FCT I.P. Research Grant Regulations (Regulation no. 950/2019, published in Diário da República, 2nd series, no. 241 on 16 December 2021). Specific Requirements Project Summary Exploratory analysis and proposal for a Soil Suitability Map for the Lisbon and Tagus Valley Territory. Work programme The grantee's work plan is as follows:- Updating the Land Use Capacity Chart.- Estimating carbon storage.- Assessing the ecological value of the soil. Languages PORTUGUESE Additional Information Duration of the grant The research grant will last for 6 (six) months and may be renewed. The grant is scheduled to start in December 2024, and the duties will be carried out on an exclusive dedication basis. Selection methods The applicable selection method will be curricular assessment of the candidates.Assessment parameters: The curricular assessment (CA) comprises the following parameters:- Degree classification (30%)- Curriculum Vitae (40%); - Knowledge/experience of risks, GIS and spatial modelling (30%); Page 3 of 4The selection board may, if it deems it necessary, call the candidates placed in the first 3 positions for an interview. In this case, the interview will have a weight of 30 per cent, to be added to the score obtained in the first selection phase, which will have a weight of 70 per cent.
