Application Support Engineer - Java/Microservices/APIs Application Support Engineer - Java/Microservices/APIs Country: Portugal Responsibilities: Provide Intermediate level triage skills for Middleware platforms Develop and implementation of controls and automations Ability to manage priorities, incidents and problems Daily ticket analysis and resolution, root cause analysis and problem creation Work with our monitoring team to identify, prioritize, resolve problems, and enhance our service offering to clients Document and communicate incidents, outages, ticket status, problem resolutions (internally and externally), and escalate tickets appropriately Create high quality technical documents quickly and accurately Developing a good understanding of the existing application (functional and technical) Qualification Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field Basic concept of distributed systems architecture in APIs Knowledge of distributed environment applications (micro-services) in Java/Springboot Experience in automation languages preferred (Python/Bash) Knowledge of databases and the SQL language (PL SQL / Transact SQL) Able to establish friendly, professional and trust relationships with internal teams and external suppliers, contributing to a flexible, stable, and team-oriented working culture Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
