About the job BNPP Wealth Management "Métier" is composed of 2 main business models structuring its activity:
Wealth Management Domestic Markets (DM) and International Retail Markets (IRM) employ a unique model in which Private Banks at the domestic level are supported by BNPP's international and domestic Retail Banks.Wealth Management Global Asian and International Markets (GAIM) is comprised of an international approach and offer, largely based on client booking sites and their dedicated IT platforms.BNP Paribas Wealth Management CDO Office (led by the Chief Digital & Data Officer) is a dedicated team within the Métier in charge of Data/AI topics including Data Management and Data Protection topics, with different roles over different geographies.
The key objectives of the CDO Office are to:
Drive WM strategy and vision for Data & AI ensuring data protection & privacy.Promote the "Know Your Data" culture.Contribute to maximize the value creation through data strategy to support growth and performance, considering other data-related initiatives at BNPP WM level.WM Data Privacy & Protection Expert will assist the CDO Team in Paris in steering WM Data Strategy and roadmap for the data privacy and protection domains. He/She will be in charge of the Group Data Protection framework implementation within WM GAIM entities.
Your Main Activities AreThe Data Privacy & Protection Expert will work closely with the CDO Office based in Paris. He/She will be in charge of the Privacy "day-to-day" activities with respect to the Group Data Protection framework applicable to the WM GAIM entities:Contribute to the animation of the Data Protection community within WM GAIM.Interact with various key stakeholders (local CDO/DPO, DCIO, CISO, Legal, among others).Ensure the implementation/application of the Group Data Protection framework.Monitor the Data Protection Indicators (e.g. Personal Data breaches) at WM GAIM level.Act as a data Subject Matter Expert on WM regulatory & Business / IT projects:Support the Project Managers in conducting the Privacy Assessments.Review the Data Protection Schedule in any project involving a contractual frame.Ensure the Data classification policy application within WM IT assets.Follow up on operational and IT action plans liaising with the Data Custodian IT Officer.Maintain the Personal Data Protection documentation up to date, notably Personal Data Record of Processing Activities (creation, maintenance and update) and associated Privacy assessments.Ensure the Cookies management for WM digital assets is consistent with regulatory requirements.Contribute to promote awareness on privacy and protection matters across WM.Contribute to the control framework on privacy & protection.Profile and Skills to SuccessBachelor's degree in Law, Management or related areas.At least 3 years of Experience in Data Protection/Privacy or related field.Knowledge of Data Privacy.Knowledge of Regulatory and IT.Knowledge of Project Management.Fluent in English.Adaptability and autonomy.Ability to collaborate/Teamwork in a collaborative/transversal way.Ability to share and to communicate.Self-Organizational skills.Ability to deliver/Results driven.Proactivity.Why joining BNP Paribas?Leading banking institution: BNP Paribas is the European Union's leading bank, and key player in international banking.
