As we continue to expand our market presence, we are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Communications to join our leadership team.
The Vice President of Communications will be responsible for overseeing and integrating three critical pillars of our communications strategy: Content, Product Marketing, and Brand & Communications. This senior leadership role will focus on driving brand awareness, developing full-funnel content strategies, and crafting compelling external communications. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in B2B SaaS, demonstrate strategic internal influence, and exhibit exceptional external communication skills.
Strategic Leadership & Vision Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and objectives.
Provide strategic direction for content, product marketing, and brand & communications teams.
Cultivate a strong, cohesive brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
Own the category creation, from strategy to implementation.
Content Management Oversee the creation and execution of a full-funnel content strategy to engage and convert target audiences.
Ensure content is aligned with the company's voice, brand guidelines, product specifications, and market positioning.
Collaborate with internal teams and freelancers to produce high-quality content, including whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and webinars.
Product Marketing Lead the product marketing team in developing compelling product narratives and go-to-market strategies based on user insights.
Drive the creation of enablement materials, product collateral, and competitive analyses.
Work closely with product management and commercial teams to ensure alignment and maximize market impact.
Brand & Communications Enhance brand awareness and reputation through strategic communications initiatives.
Oversee external communications, including public relations, social media, and influencer relations.
Manage relationships with key media outlets, industry analysts, and other external stakeholders.
Category Creation & Thought Leadership Position the company as a thought leader and innovator in the industry.
Develop and execute strategies for strategic category creation and market differentiation.
Identify opportunities for executive speaking engagements, industry awards, and other visibility-enhancing activities.
Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and inspire the teams reporting into this role: Content, Product Marketing, and Brand & Communications.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to support team growth and success.
Minimum Requirements Minimum of 10 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a B2B SaaS environment, and at least 5 years of experience in known brands (either B2B or B2C);
Proven track record of developing and executing successful branding and communications strategies;
Strong understanding of content marketing, product marketing, and brand & communications management;
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams;
Experience managing external communications, including PR and social media;
Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and category creation.
