Job Overview: A veterinary hospital in the Algarve is seeking a skilled General Practitioner Veterinarian to join their team. Utilize collected information from history taking, physical exams, and diagnostics to make accurate and effective clinical decisions. Monitor and manage the care of hospitalized animals. Establish treatment protocols and oversee ongoing care and follow-up. Prescribe medications as needed. Perform basic surgical procedures with proper anaesthesia, monitoring, and pain management. Communicate treatment plans and costs to clients clearly. Keep a daily record of case numbers. Contribute to improving hospital efficiency. Address and resolve customer concerns related to pet medical care. Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients. Uphold high standards of integrity and ethical behaviour in all actions. Supervise students in training programs.
