Amadeus Airport and Airline Operations (AAO) provides our Airport customers with innovative cloud-based technology and hardware, pioneering operational efficiencies for the benefit of airport authorities, airlines, and ultimately a better passenger experience.The Vendor Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across multiple categories, managing and improving the existing supplier performance across our product portfolio, and seeking new suppliers. This role has a particular focus on Partnerships within Purchasing. You will identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships that support strategic business deliverables. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create and manage partnerships that align with AAO goals. Your duties include negotiating agreements, managing relationships, and ensuring partnership activities deliver results. In this role, you will actively seek new partnership opportunities but importantly, nurture existing ones.The Vendor Manager will have a comprehensive understanding of the industry and use it to recommend best practices, ensure improvements, and influence the strategic direction of the department.
