Upon completion of the program, you will play a key role in the realization of a high-volume production line at our state-of-the-art facility in Porto.In your new role you will:Participate in the planning and commissioning of test systems for the serial testing of the Chipcard product groupEnsure the process stability of the test and handling systems in productionPlan and implement productivity measures (e.g. automation, reduction of test times, yield improvement, capacity expansion) within the scope of projects, and partially taking over project managementDo systematic troubleshooting and development of corrective actions, as well as their evaluation together with internal support departmentsWork on the validation, implementation, and release of test programsCreate and maintain process-specific documentationDo regular verification and documentation of the capability evidence of all testing and measuring equipmentYour ProfileYou are an energetic, goal-oriented person who remains focused on quality, even when under pressure. You enjoy continuously improving your process and optimizing it in terms of quality and productivity. You identify, understand, and analyze the causes of quality defects and proactively derive effective solutions. You systematically assess risks and take appropriate measures to sustainably eliminate them. Moreover, you communicate clearly and efficiently, cooperating as a team player thus establishing good relationships and contributing to a great team environment.You are best equipped for this task if you have:A University degree in a scientific or technical field such as electrical, mechatronics/automation engineering, or related fieldsBasic knowledge in process engineering, as well as some knowledge in the operation of special electrical test equipment in productionIdeally, initial professional experience in the electric/electronic industry or in research and developmentProficiency in applying problem-solving strategies and statistical methods for systematic troubleshooting – Six Sigma certification is a plusStrong team player attitude with the ability to work on an international levelWillingness to be internationally mobile and to work in an intercultural environmentFluency in English (mandatory).
