The Opportunity
This is an exciting new role for a TechOps Support Engineer looking to develop their career in an international context. You will be a key member of the TechOps team, working collaboratively across RONIN and the Rippleffect Group to enable our core services to deliver 24/7 to our global clients.
Key duties of this role Keep computer systems running smoothly and ensure users get the maximum benefit from them.
Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
Provide support in a face-to-face capacity, over the phone, or via remote desktop software.
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
Replace parts as required.
Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system.
Support the roll-out of new applications.
Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues.
Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs.
Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate).
Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time.
Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals.
Test and evaluate new technology.
Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.

Essential Skills and Knowledge Microsoft Office 365, Windows desktop, and server operating systems.
Basic networking skills and network security.
Troubleshooting and research skills.
Experience in a technical, desktop support environment.
Knowledge and Experience - Nice to have Confirmit or other CATI survey systems experience.
Cloud or other virtualization experience.
ISO27001 implementation knowledge.
Location
This role will be based in our office in Porto, Portugal. We promote a hybrid working model, encouraging our team to spend at least three days in the office per week based on business needs.
