Tech Lead - Full Stack Java Angular Developer

Position: Tech Lead - Full Stack Java Angular Developer Location: Venda do Pinheiro, Lisbon, Portugal Work regime: flexible hybrid - 1st month of work: once a week in the office (20% on-site) - After the first month: 1 to 2 days a month in the office ( on-site regime up to 5%) Our client is one of the leading parcel companies in Portugal, with an extensive network of agencies and Parcel Shops.
It has established a stable European shipping network, covering many countries and some US states.
Over time, it has expanded its portfolio with innovative solutions to serve the parcel market, especially in e-commerce.
Responsibilities and Tasks of the Job - As the tech lead of the team, you take responsibility for the development and operation of your innovative products; - The team acts with maximum independence with full focus on dynamic tour planning; - You take an agile, iterative, and incremental approach: this includes carrying out proof of concepts (POC) for new features and technologies and evaluating the potential benefits; - You work in an interdisciplinary manner with the specialist departments and customers; - As part of DevOps, you will be closely involved in all stages of development from design to operation; - You realize product ideas based on state-of-the-art technologies; - This includes the implementation of microservices in the cloud and the use of artificial intelligence; - Together with our customers and other international teams, you will create real value, drive digitalization, and modernize the client's IT landscape.
Mandatory Skills - Computer science degree or equivalent; - Several years of experience as software engineer, ideally in the field of logistics; - Several years of experience with Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate; - Several years of experience with Angular, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript/TypeScript; - Experience with SQL and relational databases, especially PostgreSQL; - Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda), Docker and Kubernetes; - Excellent knowledge of debugging practices and techniques; - Experience working with FIGMA is a Plus; - Good English skills; - Good time management skills, and Team Player; - Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and impact on company success; - German skills are a plus.
