Job Description To strengthen the Interiors Management Team in our Porto Location we're looking for a dynamic and highly motivated engineer with a passion for Cybersecurity. In Interiors, we are developing embedded software components for the digital cockpit of the future, including instrument clusters, high-performance computers, and 5G telematic control units.
As a team leader/manager for Automotive Cyber Security Software, you will coordinate a team of software engineers as well as participate actively in the development of high-quality solutions for our customers.
As part of our team, you will:
Manage a team of highly qualified and motivated Software Engineers by mentoring and developing the team members, fostering autonomy and ownership.
Assign tasks to team members according to their competences and capabilities.
Conduct team meetings and team events, fostering open communication and a feedback culture.
Help grow the team by supporting talent retention and recruitment activities, including job interviews.
Take on an active role in the development of customer projects by bringing in technical knowledge and expertise.
Ensure high quality and on-time project delivery.
Support in the acquisition of new projects, e.g., in the clarification of technical feasibility and effort estimation.
Collaborate with other Team Leaders to shape the success of the Company.
Cooperate in building a complex software system that serves as a platform for the vehicle of the future.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
5+ years of professional experience in software development for embedded devices.
Good programming skills in C/C++ for embedded microcontrollers.
Profound understanding of Cyber Security concepts: hashing and encryption algorithms.
Ability to work in international teams and with international customers.
Good analytical capabilities and ability to systematically deal with challenges.
Strong sense of accountability and ownership.
Strong people skills and team-oriented mindset.
Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
Would be a plus:
Professional experience in disciplinary and/or technical leadership.
Professional experience in automotive software development and the Product Life Cycle.
Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
Experience in working with hardware debugging tools and the ability to read schematics.
Knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic and/or Adaptive architecture and configuration tools.
