The Role
As WTW's Global Services and Solutions (GSS) team member, as Senior Project Manager you will entail supporting our multinational clients in the delivery of consulting services to the headquarters and coordination of local consulting services relating to non-actuarial issues, as well as, be responsible for managing and mentoring a small team of GBM Project Managers.
Global Services and Solutions (GSS) team is dedicated to serving the needs of the headquarters of its multinational clients. Operating in the global market place means multinational companies face a variety of different business, cultural, language and regulatory environments. Global Services and Solutions (GSS) group services into four main areas: multi-country coordination and project management; strategic advice around the management of employee benefits; technical expertise on global risk management; supporting global reach.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Managing a small team of GBM Project Managers
Provide data analytics, draft reports and presentations, update project trackers and work with the local country consultants and brokers to obtain status updates
Manage the clients' benefits data which includes working with the Global Benefits Center to populate data and being responsible that data is accurate and updated on a timely basis. Facilitate and project manage initial technology and implementation tasks upon project start up
Support the use of Willis Towers Watson's proprietary technology including Benefits Insights, Benefits Data Source, BenVals and other tools to help clients to maximize the value from the information collected
Support the global consulting lead, global project manager, and local/regional country consultants to deliver advice to the headquarters of our multinational clients on employee benefit matters around the world
Coordinate and project manage multi-country projects such as: global benefit benchmarking exercises, cost savings projects and governance processes
Help the global consulting lead and global project manager to provide proactive advice around the opportunities to optimize the way benefits are managed globally (effective use of local resources, brokers, consultants, third party providers)
Work with the global consultant lead and global project manager to deliver advice to multinational clients about the financing of their risk benefit programs, such as self-insurance, multinational risk benefits pooling and employee benefit captive work - for feasibility study, negotiation, selection, implementation and ongoing support
Keep abreast of changes in legislation, market practice or otherwise, to identify issues that clients should be addressing
Support other areas such as Global Healthcare & Wellbeing, Benefits Financing and Defined Contribution consulting
Help to provide an efficient, professional service to meet client needs and to promote the Willis Towers Watson brand
Qualifications
The Requirements
You are the person that we are looking for if you have:
University degree
Proficiency in English (written and spoken). Other languages (especially French and German) are a bonus
3 to 5 years of experience as a Project Manager/ leadership role in a multi-project environment with challenging timeframes and deliverables
Professional Project Management Certification (E.g., Prince), highly desirable but not essential
Proficiency in Excel to manipulate and analyze data, as well as working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
A strong communicator with the ability to effectively interact across various levels, teams, and cultures
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
Excellent report writing and presentation skills
Hands on experience with employee benefits or insurance market
Interest in international benefits
Ability to deal professionally with internal and external contacts, building strong working relationships
Self-motivation and the ability to work effectively in teams, including remotely with colleagues in other countries
Well organized and attention-to-detail with ability to prioritize conflicting work schedules
Availability to travel as required
