In this role, the tax specialist will help design and implement tax policies and strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant statutes and regulatory requirements. The role also requires tax planning and reporting, including the review of corporate tax returns. The ideal candidate is an analytical, detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving complex tax-related challenges.
\n What you might be doing:Develop business and investment strategies for tax and VAT optimizationVerify the accuracy of tax related records and documentsFind tax solutions to complicated international tax issuesAnswer technical questions regarding international tax laws Maintain written and oral communications between the company and all relevant advisors, local accountants, auditors and regulatory agenciesRemain up to date with changes in the tax code and accounting lawsConduct research on tax compliance issues at local and international levelsReconciliation of accounts and analysis on a group levelParticipation in the monthly and annual closings and audits for all the entities of the group What you might bring:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experienceProven track record as a tax specialist, tax accountant, tax analyst or similar role, Big 4 firm experience a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organizationFluent in written and spoken English is a must, French is a plus Ability to work independently in a virtual, global organizationHighly detail-oriented
