Job Description We are looking to fill full-time vacancies in our Riyadh Office for a Saudi National Junior Sports Consultant, which is a role suitable for people with 2 years' full-time relevant experience in the big 4, with passion in sports.
The key areas of work in the Riyadh office are those related to Sports Education, Sports Governance, Sports Policy, Sports Business, Sports Development, Sports Tourism, Sport Diplomacy, and Inclusivity. Candidates for the Junior Consultant post would, preferably, have some experience and/or a clear interest in one or more of these areas.
Successful applicants receive significant mentoring from senior staff. The focus will, however, be on supporting teams of consultants from the outset, with a significant amount of time being spent delivering outputs to be used in projects for clients.
We have an internal training, but much of the learning will be 'on-the-job'. The Junior Consultant can move to more senior positions within the company at a pace which will be determined by the development of their skills and their contribution to the company.
Job Responsibilities: Conduct research and analysis on sports-related topics and trends.
Assist in the development of sports policies and strategies.
Provide support in the implementation of sports projects and programs.
Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality consulting services to clients.
Attend meetings and events related to sports consulting.
Job Requirements: Strong interest in sports and knowledge of the sports industry.
Excellent research and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
1-3 years of experience in sports consulting or a related field.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent all-round IT skills.
Proven organizational skills, working in a calm, logical way to achieve tasks within set deadlines.
Excellent skills in data collection, management, analysis, and strong research skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with multiple colleagues, peers, and external clients.
A methodical and rigorous approach with a high level of attention to detail.
Capacity to be in contact with clients from different cultural backgrounds.
Certification in consulting or field of expertise is a plus.
Additional Information Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration or a related field.
