The Plant Design & Risk Modelling is developing Vestas' site assessment platform, ensuring risk offerings and warranty framework. We develop solutions for minimizing value at risk, all carried out in close collaboration with stakeholders across Vestas' value chain. Responsibilities Be an essential part of an agile team developing tools and products for the warranted power curve verification area and supporting the organization with power performance insights based on the previous power curve verification tests. Develop and improve Power Performance methods into the analysis tools and products. Understand the complexity and uncertainty of different measurement methods of the power performance verification, f.Ex. met masts, lidars and SCADA data and ensure it gets implemented correctly in our tools and products. Represent Vestas' interest in the IEC 61400-12 and IEC 61400-50. Participate in projects developing algorithms that eventually support visualization of data for internal and external customers. Provide statistical analysis with critical thinking skills that ensure scrutiny of data solutions prior to roll out. Be essential part of an agile team setup where collaboration and continuous improvement is key. Contribute to verifying and breaking down requirements from the business. Qualifications Have a relevant technical education, such as bachelor's or master's degree in, e.G., mechanical engineering or similar. 5+ years' experience in the wind industry, namely in wind measurements, measurement masts configuration, wind sensors, SCADA data and power curve verification tests. In depth knowledge of Measnet and IEC 61400-12-1 International standards. Basic understanding about turbine's technology. Basic experience with coding (mainly R and Python) and motivated to be part of a team mainly delivering software solutions. Speak and write English and have good communication skills, enabling the presentation and discussion of results with the stakeholders
