Corporate Actions Trainee Euronext Securities Porto is the leading entity in Portugal in post-trade services, offering integrated and flexible solutions at European level, operating as the Custody and Settlement Central Securities Depository (CSD) , belonging to the EURONEXT Group and being compliant with:
CSD Regulation (CSDR);
The Portuguese Legislation on Capital Markets;
The rules of the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM).
Euronext Securities Porto uses the most stringent international service and security standards and was one of the first CSDs to join the European settlement platform TARGET2-Securities and to obtain authorization to operate as a CSD in the context of CSDR.

Key Accountabilities
As a Corporate Actions Trainee, you will:
Learn and build the knowledge and network related to Corporate Actions, as well as the entire Post Trade workflow, in order to develop your autonomy through:
Learning-by-doing: performing the functional tests of the new Corporate Actions platform, operational acceptance tests, client acceptance tests
Learning market practices and specificities of the Euronext CSDs and meeting local business experts
Supporting the processing of Corporate Actions in production
Building the cross-CSD network for Operational Excellence of the corporate actions team
Prepares documentation with operational procedures
Contribute to the development and implementation of the new Corporate Actions platform through:
Contributing to scope definition of future delivery
Supporting client readiness during testing and migration
Implementing efficient and effective operational processes to ensure flawless service delivery and business resilience
Contributing to Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) definition to measure internal service delivery performance (gather and analyse data on Operational & Client acceptance)
Identifying optimisation opportunities and implementing operational improvement measures
Fulfilling all compliance requirements
Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to build trustful collaborations
Profile and Skills
Knowledge of Capital markets and applicable legislation
Knowledge of English language (oral and written)
Familiar with PC's and standard office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Education and Knowledge
University Degree in Management, Economics or equivalent (preferable) - IEFP Level VI
