As a Specialist in Freight Auditing, you will be responsible to assess freight invoices and maintain the corresponding workflow in a global scope. You will also support in the forecast process and reporting of freight volumes and costs, and in the operational claims management.
In your new role, you will:
Confirmandaudit the Inbound and outbound freight invoices, including controls and reporting
Collaborate with logistics managers tosolve discrepancies
Maintainandoversee defined controls for processesin place
Maintainthe processes in terms ofdocumentation,quality tools, andaudit process
Contribute toprocess harmonization and automationin collaboration withPorto´s teams and Central teams
Support intheoperational claims management process
Supportin theForecast process & reportingof freight volumes & costs
You have a self-driven working style and are willing to take responsibility, being able to work independently and to structure your own work. Your strong communication skills allow you to quickly establish successful cooperation within your team and with others. Furthermore, you have excellent analytical skills that support your attention to detail and focus on delivery.
You are best equipped for this role if you have:
A University degree inBusiness Administration,Finance,Accounting,or similar field of studies
At least1 yearofexperience in Logistics, Finance, Accounting, or other relevant areapreferably in a Shared Services Center
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especiallyExcel – SAP is preferred
Ananalytical mindsetand the ability topay attention to details
Fluency in English– knowledge of German is an advantage
