Main Function
The Spa Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the spa centre, offering a high standard of services and managing Spa employees to achieve retail and treatment sales targets as set.
Qualifications
Proficient speaking, reading, and writing skills in English, and fluency in at least 2 of the following languages: German, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Russian, Chinese. Any other language is considered advantageous.
3+ years as Spa Manager on a Cruise Ship.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Strong PC Skills using Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook or equivalent mail client application.
Proven accounting skills, marketing strategy, and the ability to lead the group to meet new goals.
Main Responsibilities
Establishes team leadership and coordination.
Represents the spa in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner while maintaining a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Provides and maintains quality service to generate maximum profits through cost control and creative, energetic salesmanship.
Demonstrates good communication and organizational skills.
Checks and ensures excellent service to guests.
Manages the daily agenda.
Validates the accuracy of end-of-Cruise reporting and financial data.
Develops and maintains strong working relationships with the shipboard authorities and with other departments onboard.
Administrates stocks in the store.
Ensures control of daily closing and administrative duties.
