As a result, the QA team has been going through a significant transformation for the past 18 months and this role is critical in helping us accelerate the pace of this transformation.
You will be aligned to a technology platform where you will work with our 3rd party partners and UK based staff, making sure quality is embedded into everything we do and we continue to implement, maintain and enhance our test automation frameworks and tooling.
Our technology platforms include, but are not limited to, web applications developed in .Net/C# and Java interacting with proprietary customised backend services also developed in Java, underpinned by Microsoft SQL databases with an Azure "cloud first approach".
These integrate with a multitude of API linked bespoke applications that have been developed in a variety of technologies. An understanding of multiple web based environments would therefore be beneficial.

You will work to deliver the technical improvements backlog for your platform ensuring our current solutions are continually assessed, improved, and integrated.
You will be an active member of the wider QA team, working with your peers to share knowledge and collaborate on new innovative ideas.
You will work with the QA Lead Engineer on your platform and lead SDET to support wider improvements plans aimed at increasing test automation knowledge in the team as well as more efficient ways of working.
You will be producing the required KPIs for your area and feed into wider reporting as required.
You are consistently coming up with new ideas and ways of working - keeping a pulse on the latest tools and technologies.
You will work to promote and increase visibility of the QA function and its technical capabilities with the wider team.
