Role Description Skills:
Software Development (50%):
Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Python, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
Build and deploy applications using Google Cloud Platform (App Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, BigQuery).
Collaborate with the team to manage and improve infrastructure using Terraform.
Manage version control, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews using GitLab.
Ensure high-quality software through testing, debugging, and continuous improvement.
Leadership/collaboration with stakeholders (50%):
Excellent communication is required to manage the expectations and train and engage with the business stakeholders.
Engage with internal customers and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and development tasks.
Prioritize features, improvements, and bug fixes based on business needs and customer feedback.
Coordinate development efforts, managing timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
Lead sprint planning and ensure timely delivery of product features.
Facilitate communication between engineering teams and internal customers, acting as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Drive product innovation and improvements based on customer insights and market trends.
Required Technical Skills:
GitLab: Proficient in managing repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.
Google Cloud Platform: Strong experience with App Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery for building and deploying scalable applications.
Terraform: Experience in infrastructure-as-code for managing cloud resources.
Python: Advanced knowledge of back-end development and automation.
PHP: Experience in server-side scripting for web development.
HTML/JS/CSS: Front-end development skills for building interactive user interfaces.
Desired Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills to work effectively with internal customers and cross-functional teams.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into layman's terms for non-technical stakeholders.
