Overview of the role:
We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. You will be directly involved in activities engaging the biggest community of players in the world and will take care of all the social media and community related activities.
This role focuses on driving brand awareness, growing the community, and increasing engagement through compelling content across our social media channels, in line with the brands' tone of voice and compliance regulation, and based on the calendar of events, campaigns and projects involving ambassadors, streamers and influencers.
The right candidate has experience in Social Media; a knowledge and enthusiasm for the game of poker is preferred, but an awareness and understanding of PokerStars' cultural and global brand is critical in taking on the role.
This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both!
What you'll do:
Work closely with the Social Media Manager to assist with defining social strategy and ensuring objectives are reached.
Assist the Social Media Manager with brainstorming and briefing the production and execution of channel-specific communication plans, ensuring they are inline brands' tone of voice and strategy.
Assist the Social Media Manager with producing presentations for internal and external partners.
Assist the Community Manager with planning and publishing of the PokerStars content calendar on social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
Assist the Global Community Management coordinating moderators and planning of their activities, ensuring messages are responded to, in line with brand guidelines and following internal procedures.
Assist with ambassadors & influencers' activations, work alongside internal and external partners to define and implement plans, as well as report on results, identifying successes and areas for improvement.
Assist with production of reports, consistently monitor, audit and analyse the performances and sentiment of community activities, and proactively monitor activities of competitors.
Collaborate with wider internal teams (Studio, Marketing, CRM, PR, Live Events) so to ensure cross-departmental alignment.
Keep up to date with digital trends and be a constant source of ideas and inspiration.
What you'll bring:
Experience in a similar role, with a strong knowledge of the gambling industry and a passion for poker and/or sports and casino.
Expertise in Social media, with a solid understanding of the social platforms and communities.
Ability to communicate, present ideas and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Knowledge of Social Media best practices.
Knowledge of Social Media metrics, ability to produce analysis of performances and reports highlighting the results and the findings.
Knowledge of social media enterprise tools such as Sprinklr and Brandwatch (beneficial, not essential).
French language would be a plus, but not mandatory.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with the internal teams and external providers, with good teamwork skills in a dynamic environment.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous, attentive to detail, and conscious of quality.
Result and goals-oriented, with ability to analyze data.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
