What you'll be expected to do Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure using Terraform.
Build and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager.
Manage and optimize our Kubernetes clusters, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.
Implement best practices for CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments and minimizing downtime.
Work closely with the engineering and product teams to ensure seamless integration of new services and technologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Enforce security and compliance best practices across the infrastructure.
Lead initiatives to improve the observability, reliability, and performance of our systems.
Collaborate with a team of talented engineers to drive the DevOps culture within the organization.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our infrastructure.
Qualifications and work experience Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
Strong expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
Deep understanding of Kubernetes (K8s) and container orchestration.
Solid experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Github, GitLab CI, or similar.
Strong understanding of network and security best practices.
Ability to design and implement highly available and fault-tolerant systems.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Personality and behavioral traits You are bright, self-starter with relentless energy and positivity, and passionate about being part of a nascent and mission-driven project in healthcare. You have the ability to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building and the flexibility to manage differences of opinion within the team. You are a good communicator, and you are excellent at establishing contacts and building relationships. You privilege an analytical approach and an ability to identify the strategic dimension of the issues.
You are ambitious, enjoy taking ownership and are constantly working to improve your skills, and you're not afraid to constructively challenge. You are willing to hustle to get things done in a fast-paced environment.

What is the recruiting process like There is a first interview with your future manager and/or seasoned team members to get to know you and to give you an overview of Promptly and of the job you are applying to.
Afterwards, you will undergo a technical assessment stage in which you will work on a test task or solve a business case. Depending on the position, it might be sent before the interview.
In same exceptional cases, a third interview might take place. Don't worry if this happens. It's because we have a good opinion on you, but there might be something we still need to get clear.
