Job Description
Responsibilities:
Advise customers on selections from our range of brand-name textiles, perfumes, cosmetics, and accessories while ensuring merchandise is presented to create a pleasant atmosphere.
Actively sell and advise customers with a friendly attitude and focus on concluding sales.
Plan, coordinate, and implement sales-related activities in consultation with relevant on-board areas and head office.
Develop and implement measures to maximize sales in consultation with head office in Hamburg.
Manage and coordinate shop assistants to ensure high-quality service and motivated staff.
Update and refine merchandise presentation (visual merchandising).
Decide on merchandise display in the shop window and interior decor in consultation with head office in Hamburg.
Optimize supply of quality merchandise for the shop (stock level and order management).
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the store.
Ensure orderly cash management and transparent reporting.
Promptly handle tasks and requests from on shore that arise in the Back Office.
Maintain specified statistics (e.g., sales, staff purchases, returns).
Ensure correct stocktaking occurs.
Increase guest satisfaction.
Comply with safety regulations and participate in safety drills.
Qualifications
Professional Experience:
Completed professional training in the service/trade sector and/or several years of professional and management experience in sales (preferably textiles, perfumery, watches, and/or jewellery).
Sound commercial knowledge.
Excellent language skills in German and a sound knowledge of English.
Extensive PC experience and well-versed in office organization.
Good general education.
Personal Requirements:
A born salesperson.
At least 21 years of age.

Service, customer, and target-oriented.
A team player.
Highly disciplined, motivated, and flexible.
