dxFeed is the leading provider of data services for the Capital Markets industry, sourcing and storing direct market data feeds from a variety of exchanges and market participants around the world, having built one of the most comprehensive ticker plants, in addition to offering the broadest range of data services for streaming, consolidation, storage, extraction, analytics, including index construction and maintenance for buy-side and sell-side institutions of the global financial industry.We are looking for an experienced Senior SRE Engineer to join the team.Job DescriptionDesign, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and resilient systems across multiple platforms and environments.Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and post-mortem evaluations, driving continuous improvements.Develop advanced automation tools for deployment, monitoring, and auto-scaling.Engage in capacity planning, performance analysis, and system tuning, utilizing cutting-edge technologies.Spearhead architectural decisions, technology selection, and strategic planning across projects or business units.Conduct comprehensive security assessments and implement robust security measures.Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional teams.Be active in assisting developers and participate in DevOps activities.Install, manage, integrate, and evolve in-house developed and external monitoring systems.Communicate with clients and partner companies' engineers on technical and architecture design subjects.QualificationsRequirements:5+ years of experience in automation, IaaC, SaaC, cloud-based automated deployments.Experience in Amazon AWS and other clouds.In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP stack.Enhanced understanding of networking (routing, switching, IP, TCP, UDP, VPN, DNS).CI/CD and DevOps activities experience.Proficiency in shell script languages: awk, perl, or others.Preferred experience in cluster technologies and high availability systems.Experience in solving complex problems and the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Strong analysis, investigation, and troubleshooting skills.Good written and spoken English language skills.Additional skills considered an advantage:Understanding high-performance, high-throughput, and low-latency network technologies.Experience with CDN architectures.Experience with WAN technologies.Experience with Trading/Exchange/Risk management software usage and management.Experience in working with Tomcat, Apache, nginx, haproxy web servers.Experience with Atlassian software (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).Life in DevexpertsWe will only achieve our mission if we live our culture.
