Job DescriptionWe are looking to appoint a Senior Software Engineer to join a team responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing embedded Linux distributions for our advanced digital cockpit components. This includes instrument clusters, high-performance computers, and 5G telematics control units. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate his expertise in low-level Linux programming, device drivers and build systems. ResponsibilitiesBuild and configure Linux-based OS images using Yocto or other build systemsDesign, implement and test software components, including device drivers for embedded systems and peripherals, in C and C++Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software components, build systems, kernel configuration, and device driversSupport the hardware development team during the board bring-up phaseWrite and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user manualsKeep up with emerging technologies and industry trendsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutionsYou will collaborate with a strong international team and see the impact of your work on streets around the globe. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related Engineering disciplines3+ years of professional experience in embedded software development in Linux environmentProficiency in C, C++ and shell scriptingExperience with build systems such as Yocto, Buildroot, or OpenEmbeddedExperience with debugging tools such as gdb, strace, and ltraceProfound knowledge of the Linux kernel internals, device tree, and bootloadersExcellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skillsFluent in English, both written and spoken[Would be a plus to have Knowledge or Experience]
