We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Platform Engineer with a focus on Kubernetes, to join our platform engineering team. As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the core infrastructure that supports our products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our platform is scalable, secure, and efficient, enabling us to deliver high-quality solutions to our customers.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable infrastructure based on various Kubernetes platforms (Azure AKS, GCP GKE, on-prem).
Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure the platform meets the needs of our applications and services.
Mentor Platform engineering team members around Kubernetes system administration.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes and ensure consistent delivery of code.
Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of the platform.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in managing and administering Kubernetes clusters in both cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises environments.
A strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises infrastructure, including experience with hybrid environments.
Knowledge of Kubernetes security best practices, including network policies, RBAC, secret management, and vulnerability scanning.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex issues in Kubernetes environments.
A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the Kubernetes ecosystem.
