Overview: Key role within the global HR team, the Senior Payroll Manager mission is to coordinate and lead the Europe payroll department for the Carrier Commercial Refrigeration (CCR) organization. Responsibilities: Manages payroll for CCR Europe with the support of the local payroll team; Coordinates local payroll service providers in Europe; Leads multiple teams headed by payroll managers or service providers, establishing and executing strategic goals and objectives; Recommends and implements operational plans and budgets, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations in one or more countries; Advises executive leadership and serves as an escalation point for complex pay related queries; Manages payroll insourcing or outsourcing projects; Develops strategic goals and objectives that directly impact the quality and efficiency of all global or regional payroll operations including pay preparation / processing, tax reporting, time and attendance management and benefits record administration; Leads and directs payroll functions to ensure timely and accurate preparation, reconciliation, reporting and audits to ensure smooth and efficient functioning; Develops operational plans and budgets, including utilization and support of third party vendor services; Ensures payroll activities are conducted accurately and compliantly in accordance with relevant regulations, laws, and standards; Advises executive leadership on payroll matters, current and potential future laws, and regulations related to payroll operations; Serves as an escalationpoint for complex pay inquiries; Leads large-scale, complex, cross-functional payroll projects and ensures best practices are utilized in operations and implementation / management of payroll systems. Qualifications: Proven experience in payroll management in an international environment; Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project and operational teams; Experience in managing project of payroll insourcing or outsourcing; Experience in large service payroll providers companies; Master's degree or minimum bachelor's degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
