Senior Manual Tester – Payments and Services Unleash your potential in a role where big data and technology innovation intersect! This is a Lisbon-based hybrid opportunity – work from home for 3 days per week.
As a Senior Manual Tester, you will work for our client—a global IT leader driving innovation with cutting-edge solutions and services. You will be responsible for functional and manual testing, managing application registration, creating thorough test scripts, and occasionally executing automated tests.
Your Main Responsibilities:
Participate in one of the industry's largest and most successful IT projects.
Define and implement test plan strategies.
Create detailed specifications and test documentation.
Conduct functional testing (requirement-based, business process-based) and acceptance testing.
Work closely with project leaders (Chef de Projet) to ensure tasks are clear.
Solve problems creatively and efficiently, within the scope of assigned tasks.
You're ideal for the role if you have: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong experience in creating test documentation, preferably in the payments domain.
Proficiency in conducting manual tests, creating test scripts, and occasionally executing automated tests (not developing them).
Solid understanding of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies (primarily working under Waterfall, with some Agile projects).
Functional knowledge of payment systems, including Instant Payment and SEPA.
Expertise with ALM (essential, as all projects use ALM) and experience with SQL.
Experience with JIRA; knowledge of Postman for API testing is a plus.
ISTQB and ISTQB Agile Tester certifications.
Strong communication skills and fluency in French (C1).
