In this role, you will lead the implementation of account management strategy to expand and maintain the customer base, deliver net growth, revenue, profitability, and service targets for key accounts.
Key Responsibilities: Provide input to developing key account strategy, including account planning, revenue targets, and service goals.Plan, oversee, and deliver sales objectives for strategic accounts across a region or globally.Coordinate and control sales activities and initiatives, including contract negotiations for assigned key accounts.Build relationships with existing and potential customers, associated networks, and support functions.Identify decision-makers, negotiate customer contracts, promote brand awareness, and resolve issues.Ensure key account retention, business growth, and profitability.Direct and supervise a team to achieve goals by assigning work, timelines, reviewing output, and managing performance.Recruit, motivate, develop, and coach team members.Develop strong management capability through effective performance management, mentoring, and development of the team.Communicate and influence senior business leaders outside of own job area.Develop strong, trusting relationships with senior business leaders across DHL.Cooperate with and coordinate 3rd parties, e.g., external service providers.What we're looking for: Proven experience in Logistics, ideally within the Life Sciences and Healthcare (LSH) sector.Proven track record in Account Management experience.Experience in complex negotiations, contract renewal, and account management.Managing LSH Accounts and contractual negotiations.Knowledge of LSH and Clinical Trials Logistics (CTL) customer trends and needs.Strong knowledge of Sales and Customer Management.Understanding of cultural influences on decision-making and stakeholder management globally.Ability to manage remote teams based in differing time zones/regions.Effective communication skills across multiple regions and geographies.If you are an innovative thinker with strong clinical logistics and customer solutions expertise, we invite you to join our team and contribute to our global clinical logistics strategy.
