Your Role With a keen interest in the field of development, the main objective of this role will be software development. This software development role will incorporate the initial design, development and writing of code, along with proper, appropriate testing and effective implementation. Whether you have extensive experience in this field or are a graduate with some experience looking for a development opportunity in a global organization, we are interested in speaking with you.
Your Responsibilities Take technical responsibility for our frontend development in a cross-functional team.
Take a leading role in designing our frontend and building up a modern frontend architecture for the logistics industry.
Shape our services through their entire lifecycle - from ideation and specification, architectural design, prototyping and integration into productive systems.
Work closely with product owners and business experts from different business units.
Continuously improve our UI concepts by evaluating new tools and frameworks.
Your Skills and Experiences Degree in computer science or similar.
Multiple years of working experience in a Frontend Developer or equivalent role.
Advanced practical experience in frontend development using one or more of modern web JS frameworks (Angular >v14 preferred).
Expert in using TypeScript, CSS/SASS, HTML to implement a consistent design.
Bonus: knowledge in Java as well as related technologies e.g. Spring Boot.
Confidence with tools like Maven, Jenkins, Git, Docker, OpenShift or AWS.
You are familiar with unit testing, pair programming, code reviews and TDD.
Interest in working with agile methodologies and further developing agile strategies.
Openness to share your knowledge with colleagues and to learn from others.
Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English. German is a plus.
