It Service Desk Technician

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Service Desk Technician to provide exceptional technical support to our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining desktop/laptop hardware and software, as well as managing mobile devices and IP networking. This role involves a combination of deskside support and remote assistance, ensuring efficient resolution of technical issues while maintaining high levels of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and resolve PC-related issues via phone, remote tools, or deskside support.
Build, configure, and troubleshoot desktop/laptop applications and hardware components.
Perform ad-hoc deployment and on-site installation of desktop/laptop hardware and software.
Coordinate the recovery of desktop/laptop assets and manage the life cycle of hardware (break/fix, upgrades, and new hires).
Manage and support mobile devices.
Troubleshoot and support IP networking (wired and wireless).
Ensure incidents and service requests are resolved within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Update and maintain daily ticket progress and ensure accuracy within the ticketing system.
Keep IT Asset Management (ITAM) records current and up to date.

Requirements:

Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar technical support role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong ability to work independently, collaborate with team members, and escalate issues as necessary.
Outstanding interpersonal skills and a customer service-focused mindset.
Exceptional PC troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with mobile device management and basic IP networking (wired/wireless).
