The Role Veeva Link is a suite of data applications that provide deep data across a number of areas, including key people and key accounts. As one of our Senior Data Analysts, you will be the subject matter expert for questions regarding Link data structure and quality. You will ensure the data we use meets the product goal and provide data analysis for the various stakeholders. You will closely work with product management, data operations, data governance, software engineering, and quality assurance teams. To thrive in your role, you need to have an academic background in the technical field and a life science background or experience working with life science data, with substantial experience with data analytics, large databases, and complex data sets. You are a fast learner, detail-oriented, have a growth mindset, and can turn data into valuable insights. You communicate effectively with stakeholders and can deliver high-quality results within a tough timeline. You are comfortable working remotely in an international environment. What You'll DoAssure that data quality and compliance meet our high standardsExtract data from databases (e.g., Redshift, Mongo DB)Analyze large data sets and generate insightsIdentify data gaps and quality issues and provide root cause analysisBuild and maintain a technical data model (entity relationship diagram)Create customized reports and dashboards for internal stakeholdersRequirementsUniversity degree in an analytical or technical field, e.g., bioinformatics, applied mathematics3+ years of working experience in data analysis or data quality, with life science data experienceExperience in complex organizational structures, reporting to senior managementProven track record managing data analytics projectsAdvanced SQL skills (joins, subqueries, subquery factoring)Proficient in Python for data manipulation and analysisExperience with large databases and complex datasetsSkilled in data visualization tools (e.g., Superset, Tableau, Power BI)Strong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishNice to HaveExperience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow)Experience with data governance and data quality frameworksStrong understanding of statistical analysis and modelingAbility to create and maintain automated reporting systemsPerks & BenefitsOpportunity to work in a diverse and international workspacePersonal development budgetFitness reimbursement#RemotePortugal Veeva's headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.
