Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

You'll work with other Infrastructure Engineers and Developers directly to review, improve and ultimately define the infrastructure.
To be successful, good communication skills and wide knowledge in AWS infrastructure services, coupled with real-world experience will be required.
You'll need to have a breadth of supporting technical skills such as knowledge of security best practices, Linux, configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, scripting, networking, and infrastructure as code.
You don't need to be experts in all these areas but will need some proficiency in them.
Your tasks: You and your team will define, implement and maintain the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) that supports all the applications and services behind kununu.com.
Advise and guide teams on new projects, helping them better understand risks and suggesting mitigations.
Responsible for fostering standards on infrastructure management and DevOps practices.
Build and expand provisioning tools to perform hands-off deployments of containerised applications.
Your skills: You have received training or a degree in IT, software development or similar.
Well versed in Linux.
5+ years of experience defining and maintaining AWS infrastructure (AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification is a plus).
5+ years of experience writing IaC using Terraform (either Hashicorp Infrastructure Automation Certifications are a plus).
Solid understanding of GitHub Actions in driving infrastructure CI/CD.
Experience with ElasticSearch, MySQL, Redis, Memcached, DynamoDB, AWS ECS is a plus.
Fluency in English is required.
Speaking German is a plus.
