Your New Role Responsibility for the development and maintenance of Java-based backend applications using the Spring framework Design and implementation of highly available RESTful web services and APIs Advanced database design and optimisation as well as integration of external systems and services Monitoring and conducting code reviews to ensure the highest code quality Strategic collaboration with other development teams and stakeholders to develop technical solutions What You'll Need Degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualifications Extensive and proven experience in the development of Java-based backend applications as well as in-depth knowledge of the Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot Experience in the development and implementation of RESTful web services and APIs In-depth knowledge of databases (SQL, Hibernate, JPA) and version control systems Knowledge of microservices architecture and messaging systems (e.g. Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ) is an advantage Strong problem-solving skills and a structured way of working Ideally initial management experience Good knowledge of English and the ability to collaborate successfully in an agile environment At DACHSER, all people are welcome.
