.Job Description:Verisure (known in Portugal as Securitas Direct) is seeking a talented, innovative, and passionate Senior Accountant to join our Shared Services Center Accounting Team, with colleagues in Sweden, Geneva, Madrid, Paris, and Lisbon. The role will report to the SSC Accounting Manager and will be based in Lisbon.The SSC Accounting function is responsible for providing accounting services to a wide range of legal entities located in Europe, ranging from operational entities to holding entities. The Senior Accountant will be a key member of the team and play a critical role to achieve this objective.ResponsibilitiesCost analysisAccruals and ReconciliationsFixed assetsHFM, Navision, and Oracle reportsPoint of Contact for internal and external stakeholdersReview and assure proper classification of cost center and accounts on Journal EntriesWeekly and Month-end closing procedures including Reconciliation reportAssist manager and peers on the daily activitiesPerforming ad hoc Accounts Payable and Procurement duties as requiredCollaboration with local finance specialists to accounting, tax, annual reports etc. to ensure adherence to local legislationCandidate ProfileExperience and QualificationsWe see this role as critical for the achievement of Verisure's growth and organizational transformation goals while Group Accounting aims for centralization and automation
