Come join us! Locations Available: Lisbon, Portugal. About the Department Security at Cloudflare is a focused team committed to helping secure both Cloudflare and our customers. The Vulnerability Management Team requires a blend of technical proficiency, knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, stakeholder partnership, and regulatory knowledge in order to effectively mitigate security risks across a diverse technology landscape. About the Role The Vulnerability Management Team oversees the entire lifecycle of a vulnerability, encompassing everything from configuring and maintaining vulnerability scanners to partnering with remediation teams, optimizing and scaling processes. This multifaceted role entails reviewing and triaging vulnerability reports, configuring and managing scanners, developing automated solutions, ensuring compliance adherence, and providing remediation support at scale. Desirable skills, knowledge and experience Proficiency in common vulnerability scanning tools, and developing procedures, reports and processes. Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and frameworks such as NIST, MITRE, ATT&CK Framework, and OWASP top 10. Experience with cloud services and applications (AWS, GCP, Azure). Experience with containerized environments. Proficient at automating vulnerability management at scale using scripting languages (python, go). Ability to work autonomously with a strong sense of urgency, ownership and self-drive. Ability to build partnerships and get results across many different stakeholders. Ability to effectively communicate, both verbal and written, to stakeholders regarding remediation, process and feedback
