No Offer Description The Polytechnic of Leiria is now opening applications for (one ) scientific research fellowship (BI) within the project DEGREN+: Red Transfronteriza de Innovación Empresarial en Ecodiseño en la EUROACE – DEsign & GReen ENgineering PLUS, reference 0080_DEGREN_MAS_4_E, cofinanced by INTERREG VI-A Espanha - Portugal (POCTEP) 2021-2027, through FEDER – Fundo Europeu de Desenvolvimento Regional, in the following terms: SCIENTIFIC AREA: Mechanical Engineering or related fields. RECIPIENTS: Holders of an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related areas, who are students on a non-degree course in association with R&D Units. Preference will be given to candidates with a master's degree (registration is not mandatory during the application phase). DURATION: 9 months, eventually renewable until the end of the project or the maximum duration for this research fellowship type. The fellowship is due to start in 10/2024. WORK PLAN: This project consists of developing and applying Eco-Design tools. This will involve using Product Development and Product Management methodologies in Eco-Design. WORKPLACE AND SCIENTIFIC SUPERVISION: The work will be developed at the School of Technology and Management (ESTG), of the Polytechnic of Leiria, under the supervision of PhD Professor Marcelo Rudolfo Calvete Gaspar. GRANT FINANCIAL COMPONENTS: Monthly maintenance stipend of €990.98, according to the FCT Regulation for Studentships and Fellowships plus, if applicable, the monthly Voluntary Social Insurance, according to the conditions defined in the Research Fellowship Holder statute, as well as the Personal Accident Insurance, during the research fellowship period. PAYMENT: The maintenance stipend will be monthly processed, through bank transfer, to the account identified by the research fellow. ACTIVITY SCHEME: Exclusivity, according to the applicable legislation. EVALUATION PANEL: The jury responsible for the applications evaluation will be constituted by PhD Professors: Marcelo Rudolfo Calvete Gaspar (president), Carlos Alexandre Bento Capela and Rui Miguel Barreiros Ruben (effective members); Jorge Miguel Peralta Siopa and Irene Sofia Carvalho Ferreira (substitute members).
