Offer Description
As part of a regional project in partnership with Ceramaths and LTI, the post-doctoral researcher recruited will focus on the preparation of catalytic materials from geopolymers prepared by 3D printing. The researcher will take an active part in the scientific exploitation of the discoveries made (reports, scientific articles, conferences).
Crystalline growth of microporous materials on the surface of geopolymers
Characterisation of composites as prepared
Establishment of a catalytic test bench
Catalytic testing of prepared composites
The post-doctoral researcher will work in the Materials for Catalysis (MATCAT) team of the Solid Chemistry and Catalysis Unit. The scientific activities carried out at UCCS integrate sustainable development issues such as sustainable chemistry, energy and the environment.
The position falls within the area of the Protection of Scientific and Technical Potential (PPST) and therefore requires, in accordance with the regulations, that your arrival be authorized by the competent authority of the MESR.
Minimum Requirements
Doctor in materials chemistry or heterogeneous catalysis or equivalent
First experience in the field of microporous materials and/or catalytic transformation of biosourced molecules
Training on mission-relevant characterization techniques (XRD, phys. N2, SEM, FTIR, TPD, etc.)
Fluent in English, French also desired but not eliminatory
Taste for teamwork
