Responsibilities:
As a Rust Engineer, you will be part of Lightshift's Core Engineering team. You will directly help co-build some of the most promising and impactful projects in the web3 industry, alongside the best founders and core team.
Contribute directly to the code base and overall building effort of different projects invested by Lightshift.
Analyze projects and their feasibility, focusing on the engineering component.
Research bleeding-edge trends, protocols and advancements in the space.
Work in tandem with Lightshift's investment team to identify and capture the best opportunities.
What we're looking for:
General knowledge and experience in the Rust programming language.
Understanding of design principles and architectural choices suitable for Rust's design.
Understanding of the standard developer tools for the Rust ecosystem (cargo, clippy, rust-analyzer, etc.)
A work understanding of the basic primitives blockchains rely on (distributed systems, public-key cryptography, etc.)
A strong desire to keep learning and push the boundaries of the blockchain space.
Good written and verbal communication skills (English)
Extra:
Understanding of blockchain consensus technologies.
Understanding of EVM or other blockchain-based execution environment.
History of meaningful contributions to open-source projects.
