We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and technical skilled Regional Sales Manager for our sales team in Portugal. Your main responsibility will be to develop sales and growth plans towards our existing and new customers in the country. The role consists of travelling within Portugal and you will have colleagues all over the world. Our office is located in Santarém and preferably this Regional Sales Manager should be located in Lisbon. About the Position As Regional Sales Manager at SSAB Special Steels, you have the responsibility of developing sales through technical support. It includes developing new customers, segments and applications as well as upgrading existing and new customers to more advanced materials. You will drive the development of local sales and marketing activities towards our customers. You will report to the Area Sales Manager for IBF and be part of a global sales force that together covers over 50 countries worldwide. Main responsibilities Analyze and develop the sales strategy to increase end-user reach. Train our customers with your technical competence. Offer support and guide our customers in order to create customer value and profitability. Participate in marketing actions and workshops. Visit end-users on a regular basis. About you You have preferably graduated with a degree from a University in Europe, or a college/higher education institution. Professional communication skills in Portuguese and English are required. You truly enjoy creating partnerships with internal & external customers and are motivated by coaching customers to see them grow. You have some technical experience and an interest to learn more about steel making, properties and user benefits.
