Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Reporting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Quality department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality reports that provide actionable insights to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data analysis, data visualization, and reporting tools such as Microsoft PowerBI. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize the form of quality reports, leveraging digitization tools to create interactive and informative reports that meet the needs of our stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
Quality Report Optimization: Analyze existing quality reporting processes and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and optimize the format and structure of quality reports to ensure clarity, accuracy, and actionable insights, using tools like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or other relevant data visualization platforms.
Establish a simple and comprehensive library of quality KPIs, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to streamline reporting efforts.
Data Analysis: Conduct deep data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in quality metrics.
Utilize statistical methods and data mining techniques to derive meaningful insights. Analyze data from various sources, including internal databases, customer feedback, and industry benchmarks.
Develop statistical models and predictive analytics to forecast potential quality problems and proactively address them to the stakeholders as early warning.
Present findings in a clear and concise manner.
Data Visualization, Communication, and Collaboration: Design dashboards and reports that convey complex information visually intuitive, user-friendly, and easily understandable.
Utilize storytelling techniques to effectively communicate the impact of quality initiatives and drive positive change.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Production, and IT, to gather data, understand requirements, and ensure reports meet business needs, and deliver insights that support decision-making.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and reporting.
Proactively seek opportunities for process improvements in quality reporting and implement best practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness and enhance data insights.
Documentation and Training: Document reporting processes, data sources, and methodologies applied.
Provide training and support to team members including backups on the use of reporting tools and interpretation of data.
Qualifications:
Education: University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Data Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Personality and Working Practice: Strong communication and leadership potential, interpersonal skills, assertive, team-oriented, goal-oriented, structured, analytical skills, and strategic Q-mindset.
Experience and Skills: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization, preferably within a quality management context. Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerBI and other data visualization tools. Solid knowledge of statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python) and database management (e.g., SQL). Excellent data analysis skills and statistical modeling techniques. Analytic skills such as problem-solving, attention to detail, and accuracy.
Languages: Fluent in business English (preferable with additional German).
