Currently, we are seeking an exceptional QA Functional Tester who thrives on complex challenges, and is ready to seize this fantastic opportunity.
Responsibilities
Analyse and document requirements to assess product quality and determine release readiness;
Review User Stories and develop test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures to ensure comprehensive testing coverage;
Conduct end-to-end functional testing and exploratory testing to validate functionality and identify potential issues;
Collaborate closely with the development team to clarify business requirements and ensure alignment during testing phases;
Document and log test results in tracking systems, ensuring accurate records of testing progress and outcomes;
Provide feedback on testing process improvements, offer insights on test scenarios, risks, and resources, and contribute to discussions in test planning meetings;
Support end users during the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase, facilitating a smooth transition to production;
Execute automated tests as needed and analyze their results to confirm software performance.
Requirements:
+5 years of experience as a QA;
Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;
Experience in creating test scripts, setting up test data, and executing test cycles, including documenting and analysing results;
Familiarity with Test Management tools (e.g., Jira, Xray) and Requirement Management tools (e.g., Jira);
Understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies;
Effective communication and collaboration skills;
Fluent level of English;
Living in Lisbon (hybrid role).
